WATERFRONT REDEVELOPMENT: IZOLA EAST

LOCATION OF THE WORKSHOP

 

The workshop will be held in Izola at the Manzioli Palace, Manzioli square 5, 6310 Izola.

 

Manzioli Palace is one of the oldest buildings in Izola. It was built in 1470 and is a typical town house in venetian style. It was named after former Mayor of Izola Manzioliju Tommaso, who was also involved in the regulation of Izola inner harbor. In the renovated palace premises is today the seat of the Italian national communities Izola.

 

Manzioli Palace also serves as an exhibition space for exhibitions and other events. On Manzioli Palace leaning Lovisato historical palace, which is known primarily as the birthplace Izola patriot and scholar Domenico Lovisata.

 

ORGANIZATION

 

The workshop is organized by the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana.
