Introduction

Virtual spaces have become a major economic growth factor in many contexts. As a consequence, the design of experiential rooms opens up new opportunities to architects for work and employment on aesthetical and concept design of these virtual environments. Contemporary society demands flexible urban and architectural responds. DIVE addresses new contexts, new social and urban structures and new patterns which are avoiding the established concepts about scale and physicality, therefore ‘skipping the dimensions’. Thinking about scale is an important part of conceptualising real, physical architecture, but what happens in immersive virtual environments' How important is the scale and common building logic' Some would say that it is does not matter any more whether you are working on – chair, lounge bar, building, district or landscape. It all depends only on the context, which also strongly implies the cultural aspects, educational and upbringing background.
